    G’day Tim,
Thanks for these updates on your adventures in “the village”. The drive & walk into the hills looks lovely and I’m a huge fan of suspension bridges, Jean a bit less so unfortunately. I love the idea of taking your glasses off when eating something different. Shame I don’t wear them but I might try squinting or something.
Enjoy your travels back to San Fernando. In news from our front we are 11 weeks away from heading off for phase 2. This time will only be 4 months as our parents need more regular check ins to make sure they are going ok.
    All the best

Looking forward to reading about your next trip. Hardly a week goes by when I don’t tell the story of meeting Anthony and Jean – where it all started!

It’s definitely not what I’m used to, but I figure “When in Rome . . .”

Yes, I miss him, too. I’ve already been in Cambodia for a week (second time). This time, volunteering teaching English in another very, very hot place. We’ve gotten off to a slow start, but I’m meeting some great people. Posts coming soon.

This probably tops all of your adventures and I never tire from reading them. I do read ever so slowly on the cuisine parts and you write so well it places me in your sandals! I remember when my student, Mohammed, offered my family goat…

Thanks. I think you understand even better since you’ve been here. The village was definitely a highlight.

FInished 3 parts, as above, McTery touches your heart- glad u will continue to help. All the beautiful terrain, suspension bridges and hot springs and waterfalls take your breath away. I like your “when in Rome” – wiped out my comments both times in parts 2 and 3 and I didn’t retype- I’m slow – takes me forever to do it once. Love to hear more when you’re home. LOok forward to next update. Stay well. Love Linda
