Bravo, Tim! Even after 30+ years, we still learn something new each day! Keep on fighting the good fight!

Reflective teachers weigh all aspects of the benefits and drawbacks of new programs and innovations, as we learn more and more about addiction to the screen we need to examine the need for balance.
    Good going Tim!

Ah, that impulse control! Great job Tim! Students need guidance and teachers are there to help them find the best routes to not only learning in school but what is going to help them throughout life. Good for you, stepping back and taking another look at the situation.

I like your comment on good teaching can happen without a computer, as you know that I would agree! However, I would like to hear more about these technological woes and benefits of the 1:1 program after 6 more months of school. I can see that parental insight is extremely important to help your instruction in the classroom, as you are truly a professional and able to move forward in a positive manner.
PS. … spent another day as a substitute technology teacher…imagine that…I’m learning too!
