Tim -this is incredible. The connections you are making with your students – to real people – are very powerful.

Not too hard to do, either. I don’t know why I don’t do it more often. Thanks for reading.

Great job Tim! Your students are learning so much from your travels and seeing that everyone is human and needs to be understood and treated as they would like to be treated – putting a face to a person – not jusft a refugee from another country, nor a name in a book .

    Timmy,
This is all SO amazing! Real- life experiences are what really drives it home for kids. You are certainly incorporating what you have learned from your traveling in your classroom and that is simply AWESOME!! It’s no wonder you were recognized and honored as Teacher of the Year:-) Your students are lucky to have you! I admire your perseverance to keep it real for the kids. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Thanks, Melissa. The Mae Ra Moe experience connects to all of this and motivates me to do more.

Once, again, you warm my heart through your words, communication, and deeds. I would be amazed if I were a student in any one of your classes. And it was truly an honor to enjoy the company of Cindy and Eric…till we meet again.
