WOW!!! What an experience!!! We were on a 4,800 passenger cruise ship in Europe for a few of the games and the many nationalities represented was amazing! They televised the game on the huge screen at the aft of the ship! That was exciting……I can imagine that your experience was incredible!

Great story! Thanks for linking to my post about visiting the Berlin Wall memorial at Bornholmer Strasse. Where did you find Brazilian feijoada (in Berlin)? Some years ago, I visited friends in Curitiba, and I couldn’t get enough of their cuisine.

Thanks for the comment! It’s been two years, but I remember the feijoada was being served at a corner vegetarian restaurant about a block from Templehof, so it was feijoada without the meat! Still delicious. I lived in Porto Alegre for a few years – passed through Curitiba many times.
